MORNINGS AFTER THE NIGHTS BEFORE – CH4: THE OPTIMISM OF BREAKFAST

Whereas I firmly believe that palming off quotes like some kind unpleasantly contagious dictionary is the absolute last stand of the unimaginative, I couldn’t resist this little gem, courtesy of Maira Kalman in this week’s New Yorker. “The Optimism of Breakfast?” She could have left it right there!
